The Costs And Pathways For Radiation Health Queensland

ABOUT MEDILASE

Medilase Laser Tattoo Removal Training Institution & Laser Licencing Consultancy.

Medilase is an educational, supervisory and a working clinic, that organizes and directs you along the compliant pathways required.  Medilase Laser Tattoo Removal is a treating clinic specializing in NDYag Laser Tattoo Removal, Medilase Laser Tattoo Removal R20, and Combination blister free removals of R20 and RO.

In all it’s about an 8-month process, the holdup being that RHQ takes 6-7 weeks to respond.

Why so long?
Radiation Health Queensland (RHQ) takes at least 6 weeks to respond in general to each application it receives.

Students have 2 waiting times, – (1) waiting to receive the TRAINEE LICENCE back from the RHQ.  You will then complete your 100 Hours on your OWN clientele, submit your logbook and this is followed by another (2) 6-7 weeks waiting time to receive the FULL LICENCE.

How long for the 100 Hours? 12-14 weeks is preferred

Who do I treat?  You will be treating your own clientele, friends, family, or colleagues during the 100 Hours.
Medilase does not supply clientele with this package.

Medilase requires every 100 Hours Trainee under supervision to treat the same tattoo at least 3-4 times, in order to gain an understanding of clinical endpoint and relativity to joule adjustment, whether fractional treatment of the skin is required, with micro needling and whether pressure treatment and FIR treatment is required on the area either pre-or post as laid out in our protocols. This would be seen more favourably by the medical fraternity as experience in lasers.

If, however, you have enough clients so that you can complete your 100 Hours in less time than this, and are prepared to submit your logbook with “one treatment per person”, this is up to you, and Medilase will endeavour to fit in with schedules.  Please remember that Radiation Health Queensland will assess your “experience” and has the right to approve or disapprove your logbook hours.

We do not work on Weekends and after 5.00 in the evenings.
